Mr. Tennice F. McClendon of Guntersville, Alabama died on December 30, 2010, at the age of 84 years.

Served 20 years in the United States military, including service in the Pacific Theater during World War II with the Navy, action in the Korean War with the Air Force, and 24 years as a Marine Policeman for the State of Alabama.

Held multiple leadership roles in the community including service on the Guntersville Board of Adjustments, membership and presidency of the local Ducks Unlimited chapter, and positions with the Cahaba Shrine Temple and Marshall Shrine Club.

Survived by his wife Belle McClendon, two sons, one daughter, two brothers, and two sisters.

The Alabama House of Representatives recorded his death with deep sadness and offered this resolution in tribute to his life and in sympathy to his grieving family.
