University of Alabama Huntsville Chargers men's basketball team achieved a 29-5 record during the 2010-11 season, their best record as a Division II school.

Team accomplishments included winning the Southern Regional Championship, repeating as Gulf South Conference East Division Champion, reaching the Elite Eight of Division II for the first time, and finishing ranked 7th in the nation.

Coach Lennie Acuff was named Division II South District Coach of the Year, with players John Magette and Zane Campbell selected to the All-American Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Other team members recognized include Arni Ragnarsson, Brett Wester, Josh Yost, Tyler Hanback, Andrew Donovan, Jaime Smith, Elliot Jones, Xavier Baldwin, Srdjan Boskovic, Conner Blasi, Taylor Chapman, and Ronnie Mack.

House of Representatives commends the team and directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to the team with congratulations for their outstanding achievement.
