University of Alabama Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team won its third consecutive National Championship on March 13, 2011, defeating University of Wisconsin Whitewater 58-56 in Arlington, Texas.

Team completed the season with a 24-8 record and advanced to the national finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Championship game featured 20 points and 13 rebounds from Karolina Lingyte, 14 points and 10 rebounds from Elisha Williams, and 10-point performances from Cindy Ouelett and Katie Hamock.

Three players (Annika Zeyen, Emily Seelenfreund, and Lindsey Metz) named to Academic All-American Team, with additional players recognized on All-American first team, second team, and all-rookie team honors.

House of Representatives expresses admiration for the team's championship achievement and their representation of the University of Alabama and the State of Alabama.
