Mourns the death of Daniel Lassiter Greene Pitts of Mountain Brook, Alabama, who died on April 11, 2011, at age 35.

Recognizes his educational achievements including a Bachelor of Science from Birmingham-Southern College and Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, where he was on the Dean's List and received the Scholar of Merit award.

Honors his professional accomplishments as an active Alabama State Bar member in private practice for four years and his induction into the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, where he won the Senior Writing Award in 2006.

Celebrates his talents in electronics design, tube amplifier building, and music, including his Amateur Extra Class License certification from the Federal Communications Commission and accomplished guitar playing since age 11.

Extends condolences to his surviving family members including his mother Susan Greene Pitts, brother Randall Pitts Jr., father Randall Pitts Sr., and other relatives.
