Commends Jetson Thompson on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America.

Thompson, a junior at Hartselle High School and member of Boy Scout Troop 336 in Hartselle, Alabama, is scheduled to receive his Eagle Scout award on May 7, 2011.

Thompson's Eagle Scout Project involved weeding and landscaping two flower beds, constructing two benches, and filling basketball and playground areas with dirt and mulch to prevent flooding at Hartselle Junior High School.

Directs that Thompson receive a copy of this resolution recognizing his exemplification of Scouting's attributes including self-discipline, self-reliance, good citizenship, and devotion to duty.
