Daphne Utilities was established in 1953 and provides water, wastewater, and natural gas services to the Daphne, Alabama community.

Won the only EPA award granted in the Large Ground Water System category (serving 10,000-100,000 population) across eight southeastern states in EPA Region IV.

Award recognizes the utility's commitment to compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, including compliance with federal and state standards, operations and maintenance practices, administrative management, and customer service.

Resolves that the board, management, and employees of Daphne Utilities are recognized as a positive reflection of the city and State of Alabama.
