Honors and commends Jelani Grace, a senior at Minor High School in Adamsville, Alabama, for his outstanding academic and personal achievements.

Jelani Grace maintains a 3.25 GPA, scored 26 on the ACT, and is enrolled in four Advanced Placement courses at Minor High School.

He was selected by Exxon Mobile to be featured in a commercial about the National Math and Science Initiative that aired during the 2011 Masters Golf Tournament and continues to air on national television.

Minor High School received the A+ College Ready Grant in 2008-2009 and increased AP course offerings from three to eight classes, with AP qualifying scores rising from one to 21.

The House of Representatives directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Jelani Grace and to Minor High School for display as evidence of esteem for the school's educational excellence.
