Recognizes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated on the 12th observance of AKA Day at the Capitol on May 5, 2011.

Acknowledges the sorority's mission of "Service to All Mankind" and its century-long history of leadership and positive change in the African-American community and world.

Commends the 2010-2014 administration's theme of "Global Leadership Through Timeless Service" and program initiatives addressing youth needs, health issues, and global poverty affecting women and girls.

Notes that the 2011 AKA Day program will include redistricting discussions, public policy legislation, and a health forum on heart problems and strokes.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to Attorney Carolyn House Stewart (International President), Adrienne P.K. Washington (Southeastern Regional Director), and Attorney Leyser Hayes (International Chair of the Connection Committee).
