Honors the memory of United States Army Specialist Joshua Trevyn Lancaster of Millbrook, Alabama, who died on January 19, 2011, at age 22.

Specialist Lancaster was killed while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan as a member of the 723rd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, 184th Ordnance Battalion, 52nd Ordnance Group.

Buried with full military honors on January 31, 2011, with the Millbrook Police Department providing official escort and the American Legion Patriot Riders of Post 133 providing support for the funeral procession.

Survived by his wife Melanie Davis Lancaster, mother Kim Irwin, sisters Abi Irwin and Tayler Griffin, grandparents, and extended family members.

The Alabama House of Representatives memorializes Specialist Lancaster's heroic death with reverence and sorrow, offering condolences to his family.
