Commends the 2011 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program staff of Huntsville, Alabama for providing free tax preparation and filing services to qualified residents.

VITA program has operated in Madison County since 2003 and serves low and moderate income families, legal immigrants, and disabled persons without charge.

Names 25 volunteer staff members and two coordinators (Kermit Elliott as Site Coordinator and Ralph Redrick as Assistant Site Coordinator) for their service during 2011.

Recognizes volunteers for assisting residents in claiming Child Tax Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit, and other tax benefits.
