Honors the Alabama State University Lady Hornets for winning the 2011 SWAC Golf Championship, with Coach Gary Grandison named 2011 SWAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.

ASU won the championship by seven strokes over Jackson State University, with Amelie Buhl finishing first individually at 152, Aileen Meredith second at 159, Jessica Williams tied for 8th at 174, and Taai Hubbard and Lyndsey McCall tied for 15th at 186 each.

Lady Hornets also won the National Women's Collegiate Golf Classic at Stone Mountain, Georgia on April 22-24, 2011 with a 671 score, defeating six other highly-rated teams.

Team was scheduled to compete in the NCAA Tournament Regionals in Daytona Beach, Florida on May 5-7, 2011, with 24 teams competing.

House of Representatives directs a copy of the resolution be sent to Alabama State University for display and conveys congratulations for the championships and best wishes for continued success.
