Recognizes Conservation Enforcement Officer Timothy Joe Lindsey, II, of Madison County as a nominee for the 2011 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

Officer Lindsey is a Game Warden and seven-year veteran of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

On Thanksgiving Day 2008, while off-duty, Officer Lindsey rescued a young woman with disabilities from a burning vehicle by breaking the window glass, climbing inside, and pulling her to safety just before the van was engulfed in flames.

The victim was treated for smoke inhalation at the emergency room; the heroic rescue went unreported for more than a year due to Officer Lindsey's character and modesty.

Directs that Officer Lindsey receive a copy of the resolution as a token of admiration and esteem.
