Commends Coach Jim Robbins of Dothan, Alabama, for his distinguished professional career in coaching and teaching.

Coach Robbins earned a home-run hitting record at Wallace Community College in 1967 and played baseball at Jacksonville State University for two years before beginning his 38-year coaching career in 1972.

Taught History and coached at Ashford High School for 18 years, Northview High School for 3 years, and Wicksburg High School for 8 years beginning in 1994.

Served as Houston Academy's Athletic Director beginning in 2003 and coached the boys varsity baseball team, leading the team to the third round of Alabama High School State Play-offs in 2011.

Named Coach of the Year multiple times and won four State Championships while coaching Post 12 for 15 years; recognized for helping numerous students receive college scholarships through his history instruction.
