• She was a devout member of the Thomasville Church of God in Christ for over 70 years, serving as President of the Pastor's Aid Committee and in numerous other church roles
• She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Frank Lewis, Jr., and is survived by seven children, 34 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and extended family
• The House of Representatives records her death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to her life and as sympathy to her grieving family
