Records and expresses condolences for the death of Mrs. Gloria Norwood White of Thomasville, Alabama, who died on May 6, 2011, at age 63.

Recognizes her 25-year career with the Clarke County Board of Education and her retirement in 2005.

Honors her charitable service, including donating a kidney to her mother, her membership in the Dravitan Club, Southwest Alabama Elks Temple #1348, and volunteer work with the Salvation Army.

Survives by her son James Bernard White, daughter-in-law Vandora White, grandchildren Matthew Clarke, Savannah Sade White, and Christina Chapman, great-grandchild Malaysia Clarke, four sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Directs distribution of this resolution to her family and friends as condolence from the Alabama House of Representatives.
