Tyler Eastwood Gester attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America, on March 10, 2011.

Gester is the son of Tom and Diana Gester and a member of Troop 320 in Mountain Brook, Alabama, scheduled to be honored in a ceremony on June 11, 2011.

His Eagle Scout Project involved constructing a replica of the Oshkosh ticket booth in the experimental wing division of the Southern Museum of Flight in Birmingham.

The House of Representatives of the Alabama Legislature congratulates and commends Gester for exemplifying Scouting's attributes of self-discipline, self-reliance, good citizenship, and devotion to duty.
