Commends Dr. Martha Morrow for her leadership and relief efforts following the April 27, 2011 EF-5 tornado that devastated Marion County, Alabama, traveled 132 miles, and caused winds exceeding 200 miles per hour.

Recognizes Dr. Morrow's coordination of disaster relief through the American Optometric Association, Lions Clubs International, and Vision Service Plan, as well as providing free eye care and eyeglasses to tornado victims.

Acknowledges her meetings with Congressman Robert Aderholt, Governor Robert Bentley, Homeland Security, and Public Health officials to coordinate relief efforts.

Highlights Dr. Morrow's organization of a May 6, 2011 entertainment event that attracted over 1,400 students from affected communities and her work to rebuild the Phil Campbell Elementary School playground.

Directs that Dr. Morrow receive a copy of the resolution as an expression of sincere gratitude for her contributions to her community and state.
