Commends the Huntsville High School Baseball Team for winning the 2011 Class 6A state championship, defeating Baldwin County High School 10-2 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.

Recognizes the team's outstanding 35-11 season record and notes it was the first boys' athletic state championship at Huntsville High School since 1990.

Highlights pitcher Luke Leeth as the Most Valuable Player for the state playoff series, along with pitcher Daniel Koger and key hitters A.J. Cole, Cody Burton, Jordan Ebert, Austin Hatfield, and Brantley Johnson.

Commends head coach Mark Mincher for 26 years of leadership and assistant coaches David Sharp, B.J. Womack, Ben Graham, Bradley Futch, and Todd Gentle for their contributions to the championship team.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to all coaches, players, and Huntsville High School with congratulations for their achievement.
