Commends the Huntsville High School Baseball Team for winning the 2011 Class 6A State Championship, defeating Baldwin County High School 10-2 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.

Team posted a 35-11 season record and achieved the first boys' athletic state championship at Huntsville High School since 1990, with pitcher Luke Leeth named Most Valuable Player for the state playoff series.

Head Coach Mark Mincher, after 26 years leading the team, was supported by assistant coaches David Sharp, B.J. Womack, Ben Graham, Bradley Futch, and Todd Gentle.

Resolution directs that copies be provided to each coach and team member as well as to the school expressing congratulations for the achievement.
