House Resolution mourning the death of Mrs. Ethel Fant Cummings of Fairfield, Alabama, who died on January 21, 2011, at age 83

Mrs. Cummings was born August 13, 1927, daughter of Sam and Julia McCarthur, and was a faithful lifetime member of Shady Grove C.M.E. Church of Fairfield

She is survived by four children (Julia Jackson, Cyndia Johnson, Deborah Lett, and Terri Daniel), ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and goddaughters

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Robert "Bobby" D. Cummings

Alabama House of Representatives recorded her death with deep sadness and offered this resolution as tribute to her life and sympathy to her family
