House Resolution mourning the death of Mrs. Geraldine "Tootsie" Hulsey Kuney, who died on March 28, 2011, at age 80.

Mrs. Kuney was born in Haleyville, Alabama and was a resident of Adrian, Michigan for 61 years, serving as an active member of the Church of Christ.

She operated a private nursing home as sole proprietor for over 25 years and touched the lives of many families in the Adrian community.

She is survived by sons Phillip (LeAnn) Hiser and Joel (Maridane) Hiser, sisters Rilda Tidwell and Gail Burleson, brother William Hulsey, 12 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

The House of Representatives records her death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as tribute to her life and memory, expressing heartfelt sympathy to her family.
