American Christian Academy Baseball Team won the 2011 AHSAA Class 2A Championship with an 11-10 victory over Leroy High School on May 19, 2011, at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.

Team rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning to score four runs after losing the first game but forcing a third game with a 10-5 morning victory.

Cody Lawrence was named Most Valuable Player for the Patriots' championship performance.

Head Coach Matt Moore led the team to victory, having also coached American Christian Academy to the 2009 championship.

House of Representatives honors and commends the team for their achievement and directs a copy of the resolution be sent to the school for display.
