Notes that Mr. Fowler was born in Etowah County, lived there until age 23, worked as a professional truck driver in Indiana for 23 years starting in 1971, and returned to Alabama in 1994.

Recognizes his surviving family members: wife Charlotte Marie Fowler; sons Jimmy Mack Fowler, Jr. and David Michael Fowler; brother Marvin Earl Fowler; sisters Sue Fowler and Betty (Sonny) Presley; brother-in-law Raymond Baker; and nieces and nephews.
