Commends Jonathan Cunningham, a third grader at Vernon Intermediate Elementary, for winning the Alabama state competition in the 2010 Bonnie Plants Third Grade Cabbage Program.

Recognizes that more than 1.5 million third graders in 45 states participated in the National Bonnie Plants Cabbage Program, with state winners receiving a $1,000 scholarship toward education.

Notes that Jonathan grew a 13-pound cabbage in his grandparents' garden with assistance from his grandfather, who passed away the following year.
