Commends Dr. Constance Dees and Dr. Earnest Dees of Huntsville, Alabama for their outstanding achievements in education and dedicated public service.

Recognizes the couple as the first African American couple to graduate with terminal degrees from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 1970, after meeting at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and marrying on June 3, 1961.

Acknowledges their nearly four decades of service as professors at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, with Dr. Constance Dees retiring as Dean of the School of Business and Dr. Earnest Dees retiring as Chairman of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Notes their lifelong memberships in Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, respectively, and their active involvement in Fellowship Presbyterian Church and community service.
