Honors Shane Cochran, Manager of the Pizza Hut in Brent, for receiving the 2010 Small Business Employer of the Year Award from the West Alabama Governor's Committee and Alabama Department of Vocational Services.

Recognizes Cochran for consistently employing students pursuing the Alabama Occupational Diploma (AOD) in the Bibb County School System for several years.

Acknowledges that student employment at his Pizza Hut location enabled students to complete the required 270 hours of paid employment necessary for AOD completion.

Commends Cochran for providing valuable workplace experience and teaching students about competitive employment and professionalism, even during economically difficult times.
