Mourns the death of Mr. Rochell "Shane" Lane of Mobile, Alabama, who died at age 79.

Mr. Lane was born September 3, 1931, in Conecuh County, and was preceded in death by his wife Gloria (married 50 years), brother Paul Lane, sister Irma Burke, and son Rochell Rackley.

He is survived by three daughters, three sons, one brother, one sister, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The Alabama House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as tribute to his life and valued membership in the community.
