Amends Section 20-2-93 of the Alabama Uniform Controlled Substances Act to expand distribution of forfeiture proceeds from seized and sold property related to drug violations.

Authorizes circuit courts to distribute proceeds from forfeited property sales to fire departments and volunteer fire departments that participate in investigations or seizures, in addition to existing law enforcement recipients.

Proceeds distributed to fire departments or volunteer fire departments must be deposited into the respective county or municipal general fund and made available upon requisition of the fire department official.

Distribution of proceeds to any agency or department (including fire departments) is based on the court's determination of each participant's percentage contribution to the police and investigation work resulting in the seizure.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
