Proposes a constitutional amendment to limit Alabama legislators to a maximum of three consecutive full terms in the Senate, House of Representatives, or a combination of both chambers.

Defines an election to either chamber lasting at least two years as equivalent to one full term for purposes of calculating term limits.

Exempts all legislative service prior to November 2010 from counting toward the three-term limit, allowing current legislators to continue serving without penalty.

Amendment becomes effective upon approval by a majority of qualified voters voting on the measure.

Election officials shall place the amendment on ballots with the description: "to provide that no person shall be elected to either body of the Legislature for more than three consecutive terms, or a combined three consecutive terms in both bodies."
