Levies additional court costs in Lauderdale County circuit court, district court, and the Municipal Court of the City of Florence in the following amounts: $25 for misdemeanor drug or drug paraphernalia cases, $50 for felony drug cases, and $25 for all other criminal cases excluding traffic cases.

All collected court costs shall be remitted monthly to the Chief Accountant of the City of Florence General Fund Accounting Office and deposited into the general operating fund of the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force.

Revenue from these additional court costs is designated solely to support drug enforcement efforts of the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
