Amends Section 8-19E-2 of the Alabama Code to prohibit reselling admission tickets for benefit events or charitable purposes at prices exceeding the face value printed on the ticket.

Maintains existing law allowing resale of admission tickets for athletic contests, dances, theaters, concerts, circuses, and other amusement events at prices above face value.

Violation of the resale restriction for benefit or charitable events constitutes a Class A misdemeanor upon conviction.

Bill becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law without the Governor's signature.

Excludes the bill from Amendment 621 requirements regarding local expenditure of funds by classifying it as defining a new crime or amending an existing crime definition.
