Proposes a constitutional amendment to prohibit any privilege or license tax on gross receipts from vocations, occupations, callings, or professions in Baldwin County.

Preserves current authority of Baldwin County and municipalities to impose business licenses under existing local acts and Sections 11-51-90, 11-51-91, 11-51-92, and 11-51-93 of the Code of Alabama 1975.

Requires a public election on the proposed amendment conducted according to Amendment 555 of the Alabama Constitution and state election laws.

Election officials shall assign a ballot number and display the description "Relating to Baldwin County, proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, to prohibit the imposition of an occupational tax" with Yes/No voting options.

Bill passed the Senate on May 5, 2011 and the House of Representatives on May 25, 2011.
