• Innovation Depot currently houses 76 high-growth, early-stage companies employing 425 individuals and partners with the University of Alabama at Birmingham to commercialize research and technology.

• Program has generated more than $1 billion in economic impact in the Birmingham Region over the previous four years.

• Financial sponsors of the Innovation Depot include the City of Birmingham, Jefferson County, UAB, the Hugh Kaul Foundation, the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, other leading foundations, the Birmingham regional business community, and the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration.
