Honors Robert P. Denniston of Mobile, Alabama, on his 70th year as an accomplished attorney, a milestone reached on June 5, 2011.

Recognizes Denniston's legal credentials including graduation from University of Alabama School of Law in 1941 and admission to the Alabama State Bar that same year.

Acknowledges his law practice specializing in banking, business law, bankruptcy, real estate, probate, and estate tax, as well as his two Alabama State Bar Certificates of Merit.

Commends his military service in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War, during which he earned thirteen campaign ribbons and retired with the rank of Commander.

Recognizes his leadership roles as President of the Mobile Bar Association (1964-1965) and membership in various legal and civic organizations including the American Bar Association and American Bar Foundation.
