Recognizes Alabama FFA for its positive contributions to Alabama agriculture and its impact on thousands of young Alabamians.

Alabama FFA Association has almost 14,000 members while the National FFA Organization has more than 500,000 members representing all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

FFA and Agriscience Education provide a foundation for youth and supply young professionals to meet growing demands in agricultural science, business, and technology.

FFA promotes leadership, personal growth, career success, citizenship, volunteerism, patriotism, and cooperation among its members.

Resolution originated in Senate on March 22, 2011 and was adopted by the House of Representatives on March 29, 2011.
