SJR51 Summary

• Commends the 2010-2011 Shelton State Community College Basketball Team (the Buccaneers) for finishing 6th in the nation at the NJCAA Tournament with a final record of 28-9.

• Team finished the regular season with a 26-7 record, defeated Alabama's two top-seeded teams to win the Alabama Community College Conference Championship, and won two rounds at the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

• Recognizes Head Coach Barry Mohun (named NJCAA District 12 Coach of the Year) and Assistant Coach Tim Law for their leadership and experience.

• Names all 17 players on the roster, all from Alabama, along with team managers, statisticians, athletic trainer, physicians, support staff, and special team fans.
