Honors Warren Minor Christopher, who died on March 18, 2011, at age 85, for his lifetime of public service to the United States.

Recognizes Christopher's distinguished career as Secretary of State under President Bill Clinton, Deputy Secretary of State under President Jimmy Carter, and Deputy Attorney General under President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Celebrates his professional accomplishments including being the first Stanford Law School graduate to clerk for a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, practicing law at O'Melveny and Myers, serving as President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association in 1974-1975, and holding leadership roles in numerous civic organizations.

Acknowledges Christopher's service as Chairman of the Independent Commission on the Los Angeles Police Department, President of Stanford University's Board of Trustees, and director of the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, and Pacific Council on International Policy.

Extends heartfelt sympathy to Christopher's family and celebrates his courageous advocacy and commitment to serving his country and God throughout his lifetime.
