The University of Alabama Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team won its third consecutive National Championship on March 13, 2011, defeating the University of Wisconsin Whitewater 58-56 in Arlington, Texas.

The team completed the season with a 24-8 record and advanced to the national finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Key performances in the championship game included Karolina Lingyte (20 points, 13 rebounds), Elisha Williams (14 points, 10 rebounds), Cindy Ouelett (10 points), and Katie Hamock (10 points).

Multiple team members received All-American honors: Lingyte, Hamock, and Zeyen made the All-American first team, while Ouelett and Williams made the second team; Annika Zeyen, Emily Seelenfreund, and Lindsey Metz were named to the Academic All-American Team.

The legislature of Alabama expresses admiration for the team's third consecutive National Championship and their representation of the University of Alabama and the State of Alabama.
