• Urges British Petroleum to expedite payment of claims submitted by Alabama citizens affected by the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig explosion and fire on April 20, 2010.

• Addresses economic losses suffered by Alabama citizens including job losses and business income reduction resulting from the Gulf of Mexico oil leak disaster.
