Commends Lewis Easterly on his retirement from the Alabama Department of Revenue following longtime dedicated service.

Acknowledges Easterly's service as a Vietnam Combat Veteran awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge and his co-authorship of a book detailing his battalion's wartime experience in Vietnam.

Credits Easterly with creating the Economic Development Section within the Revenue Commissioner's Office in 1996, making Alabama the only state revenue department in the United States with a dedicated economic development section.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be conveyed to Easterly expressing the Legislature's highest esteem and best wishes for his well-deserved retirement.
