Alters the boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Fort Payne in DeKalb County by removing four specified tracts of territory from the city's corporate limits.

Removes the right-of-way of Alabama State Highway No. 35 from its intersection with the Eastern boundary of Fort Payne to its intersection with the DeKalb/Cherokee County boundary.

Removes the right-of-ways of DeKalb County Roads No. 78, 255, and 256 according to specified intersection points forming a connected boundary area.

Requires a map showing the proposed territory to be removed be filed and made available for public inspection in the office of the Judge of Probate in DeKalb County, Alabama.

Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
