Proposes constitutional amendment limiting Alabama legislators to maximum of three consecutive full terms in the Senate, House of Representatives, or both chambers combined.

Counts an election to either chamber for at least two years as equivalent to a full term for purposes of the three-term limit.

Exempts prior service before November 2014 from counting against the term limit for legislators serving after that date.

Allows former legislators to return to office starting in the second or later legislative quadrennium after their third consecutive term if they have not served in any state position (paid or unpaid) or received compensation for lobbying activities.

Exempts former state legislators who are awarded competitively bid state contracts from the restrictions on returning to office.
