• Dallas County Commission may call a referendum within 30 days of the act's effective date to allow voters to authorize Sunday alcoholic beverage sales.

• Ballot question asks voters whether to permit legal sale and dispensing of alcoholic beverages on Sundays between 12:00 P.M. (noon) and 9:30 P.M., and after 12:00 P.M. (noon) on Sundays when New Year's Eve (December 31) occurs.

• If a majority votes "Yes," properly licensed retail licensees serving the general public may legally sell or dispense alcoholic beverages in unincorporated county areas during the specified hours, with the county authorized to regulate Sunday sales by ordinance.

• If a majority votes "No," alcoholic beverages may not be sold or dispensed in unincorporated areas on Sunday after 2:00 A.M., unless subsequently authorized by law or election.
