• Proposes a constitutional amendment allowing qualified electors to petition for recall of any incumbent elective officer after the first year of their term by filing with the appropriate filing officer.

• Requires recall petitions to be signed by electors equaling at least 25 percent of the vote cast for Governor at the last preceding election in the state, county, municipality, or district represented.

• Mandates recall elections be held on the Tuesday of the 6th week after petition filing, with the incumbent automatically appearing on the ballot unless declining within 10 days; a recall primary is required when more than two candidates compete.
