Adds Section 22-23-35.1 to the Code of Alabama 1975 to provide civil immunity to water suppliers who comply with or obtain exemptions from Alabama Department of Environmental Management regulations.

Grants immunity from civil suit to water suppliers, their officers, directors, and employees for injuries related to water quality, purity, wholesomeness, chemistry, and physical composition.

Applies to suppliers determined by the board to be in compliance with Sections 22-23-33 and 22-23-34, or those operating under approved variances, exceptions, Consent Decrees, or Consent Orders.

Immunity covers claims for injuries to person or property (real, personal, tangible, intangible, direct, or consequential) based on the quality or characteristics of supplied water.

Does not impair the enforcement authority of the Alabama Department of Environmental Management under this chapter; becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval.
