Amends Section 37-15-2 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to exempt Class 2 municipalities from the one-call notification system requirement for excavation activities.

Extends exemptions that already applied to the State Department of Transportation, counties, and railroads to also include Class 2 municipalities and their officials, employees, agents, and representatives.

Class 2 municipality exemption applies when performing their official duties, consistent with existing exemptions for other government entities.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor, or upon becoming law through other means.
