Allows homeowners to cancel written contracts with residential roofing contractors within 10 business days if the insurer denies coverage for all or part of the claim.

Requires contractors to provide insured parties with a boldface notice (minimum 10-point type) explaining cancellation rights and a detachable "NOTICE OF CANCELLATION" form before entering into a contract.

Prohibits contractors from requiring payment until the 10-day cancellation period expires, except for emergency services acknowledged in writing by the insured to prevent property damage.

Voids any contract provisions requiring fees (except emergency services) against an insured who cancels pursuant to this act.

Prohibits residential roofing contractors from representing or negotiating insurance claims on behalf of property owners related to roof repairs or replacements.
