Provides the current sheriff with an additional expense allowance of $20,000 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.

Beginning with the next sheriff's term after the incumbent's expiration, increases the sheriff's annual salary by $20,000 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.

The expense allowance (subsection a) terminates when the salary increase takes effect upon the incumbent sheriff's term expiration.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
