Russell County Commission may establish an additional "Mail Order Fee" to cover costs of mailing and overhead related to business license renewals.

The fee amount shall be set by the Russell County Commission and collected by the judge of probate at the time of renewal.

All collected fees shall be paid to the county general fund.

Persons requiring state or county business licenses retain the right to pay and receive their license in person without paying the mail order fee.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
