AL HB64

Requires all annual alcoholic beverage license renewal fees to be paid between June 1 and July 31 of each year, rather than by October 1.

Increases the penalty for failure to timely renew from 50 percent to 75 percent of state and county licenses and filing fees.

Authorizes the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to charge a reasonable fee for electronic processing of license applications.

Sets the delinquency date as midnight on July 31st of the current license year, with no renewals accepted past that date.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
